Education for Better Vision
The BetterVision Foundation (BVF) is a 501c3 non-profit medical education foundation. As an organization, we are a community of individual leaders, medical providers, clinicians, and volunteer staff committed to advancements in medicine and patient care. We exist to provide medical education activities that help you stay informed on new treatments and up-to-date, cutting-edge research on all relevant advanced eye health issues and trends.
A Foundation for Continuing Education
The Foundation provides thousands of hours of continuing education to eye doctors across the United States.
We develop educational activities to expand the knowledge of medical providers and leaders to advance patient care. We believe in refining our programs and learning from what others have done to pursue and attain patient-centric care.
Our programs offer in-person and virtual medical education activities in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, Florida, Illinois, Colorado, and California.
Our Guiding Principles
We believe in leading change as expert medical leaders in our communities to better serve the public and improve health for all. The program is determined by a committee of independent ODs and OPHs, which exercises full control over faculty and course content selection.
We Believe
- Building a community of physicians working together to provide expert patient care in ocular health and vision is the foundation's chief priority.
- In shared responsibility to improve ocular health and care management through education and clinical training.
- It is imperative to improve ocular health and vision through education that prioritizes clinical practices, technology, scientific research, and development.
We provide education that matters, education for better vision and health.
